Milwaukee’s Red Knife Lottery were spawned from the same diverse Milwaukee scene that converged on the lines of punk, hardcore, rock and no wave dance with such acts like Since by Man, Call Me Lightning and Temper Temper.  The band is ramped up for the release of their debut full length Soiled Soul and Rapture this August on Uprising Records.  The full-length is the follow up to their 2005 EP So Much Drama which punknews.org praised by calling it ‘a splendid art-punk piece of work bursting forth with creativity and nods to recent masters of the vaguely-labeled style.’  While their previous work was pop through a spastic punk groove and hardcore tempo, the new material forms an organic pulse from twisting art rock to dark and sultry melodic workouts. Official Site
