Milwaukee, Wisconsin-based three-piece Invade Rome will be self-releasing their debut full-length album, Light Eyed & Villainous, on January 6th, 2009 on their very own VTK Music label. Recorded at the storied Butch Vig-owned Smart Studios in Madison, WI, Light Eyed & Villainous is a perfect reflection of the background of its artists. Originally starting together in 2003, Invade Rome have worked through many hardships, grueling tour schedules and even a band name change to put together this set of songs. Refusing to be pigeonholed as simply 'stoner-rock,' the band spent the last two years working very hard to develop its own unique take on psychedelic rock n' roll. Official Site
